Summary: Jason Richards was born in Nelson, New Zealand, and raced cars in his homeland and around the world before settling into the Australian V8 Supercar Series a decade ago. He raced initially for Team Kiwi Racing before joining Team Dynamik and then Tasman Motorsport and finally with Brad Jones Racing. He is a multiple podium winner at Bathurst, and a pole and race winner in Series. In November 2010, Richards was diagnosed with adrenocortical carcinoma and the real battle began. A father of two, his story is one of courage and a desire to continue his life with his two children and wife... of a desire to get back into the cockpit and race again at the top level of the sport. But above all it is about a guy with a great sense of humour and a man who was regarded as one of the 'nice guys'.
