Now a doctoral student at Canterbury University, Habibyar returned to Afghanistan and collected these stories of women and girls struggling for education in Afghanistan. With the proceeds of this book, Habibyar will have it translated back into Dari and distributed in Afghanistan to build awareness of the empowering effects of education.
