It provides a range of support, tips and advice on how to motivate language learners both at home and in the classroom. Ladybird Readers is a series of traditional tales, modern stories and non-fiction, written for young learners of English as a foreign language. Each book includes language activities to support the CEF framework, as well as help young learners prepare for the Cambridge Young Learners English (YLE) exams. The series adheres to CEF levels and the Cambridge YLE syllabus and is a mixture of traditional tales, modern stories, non-fiction and favourite brands such as Peppa Pig, Peter Rabbit and Topsy and Tim. Aimed at children age 5+, the range is perfect for use in the classroom and at home. Each reader is very carefully written to meet strict syllabus criteria but the text is rich and striking artwork makes each book appealing to children. Launching with twenty-eight readers, ranging from classic fairy tales and non-fiction to favourite children's brands and original stories. Each book has been carefully checked by educational consultants and can be read in the classroom or independently at home. Level 1 is ideal for children who have received some initial reading instruction. It covers CEF level Pre A1 and supports YLE starters exams. Level 2 is ideal for children who have received some reading instruction and can read short, simple sentences. It covers CEF level A1 and supports YLE movers exams. Level 3 is ideal for children who are eager to start reading longer stories It covers CEF level A1+ and supports YLE movers exams.
